Theoretical bases of vessel manoeuvring and their practical usage

In the paper results of the researches carried out in the MSTU in the field of mathematical bases of vessels manoeuvring with fishing appliances, and algorithms and programmes for the navigation and fishing complexes have been investigated. The tasks executed at the second stage of the studies have been considered: development of the theory of the "vessel-trawl" system movement; development of algorithms of aimed trawling trajectory constructing. The results of the third stage have been represented: the investigations of manoeuvring characteristics of the "vessel-trawl" system, the principles of fishing vessel safety and some others.

Application of proportional navigation method for aim trawling of mobile fish congestion

The paper considers application of the method of proportional navigation to management of a vessel at fishing mobile fish congestion. On the basis of this method algorithms of constructing trajectories of aim trawling and purse seine shooting have been offered. Examples of plotting trajectories at fishing mobile schools both by pelagic trawl and purse seine have been given.

Navigation problems of small-size swimming facilities in the seaport area and ways of their solution in a sea transport system

The general navigation problems of small-size swimming facilities in the seaport area have been considered. For increasing navigation safety it has been proposed to use mobile vessel traffic services for controlling small-size swimming facilities movement. It can be used both independently and in cooperation with traditional systems (VTS) by converging MVTS in the seaport transport system.
